Pioneer Leadership

Leadership Edmonton's Pioneer Leadership Program

Becoming a leader is not that difficult but leading with wisdom is hard. Pioneer leadership links one's personal life journey with community, society and the broader Human Venture. Pioneer leadership is a work in progress, but many of the principles are already mapped out. We know more than enough to bring out the best of ourselves to solve problems for today's generation and future ones.

Program Details

The program takes place from Sept. through May, including an opening retreat, learning days, and a closing retreat. (Over 100 instructional hours)

Opening Retreat
Participants begin to form a learning community, receive an in-depth introduction and an overview of the first several learning days.

Learning Days
Participants explore key concepts using examples from local, regional, national and international experiences. Participants become skilled at looking beneath the surface to understand the root of a problem and to use a set of tools of wisdom and judgment to guide their decision making as they strive to find solutions.

Leadership Edmonton provides a learning environment like no other, with the support of alumni and a network of Edmonton's established leaders, ready to share their experiences and insights with program participants to continue the life-long learning.
