Non-discrimination Policy
As a matter of policy, Leadership Edmonton does not discriminate against
applicants and participants on the basis of race, religious belief, color,
gender, physical disability, mental disability, marital status, ancestry,
age, place of origin, family status, source of income, and sexual
orientation. In as much as this program attempts to draw upon and include
the diversity of people and viewpoints that make up the population of the
greater Edmonton area, the selection process is done with conscious
attention to all forms of differences that exist.
Confidentiality
All applications will be handled in the strictest confidence.
Continuous Evaluation
As a means for us to continuously evaluate the impact of the Leadership
Edmonton program we expect participants to provide input on the effect the
Leadership Edmonton program has made personally, within their organizations
and in the community. To this end, a program requirement will involve having
all selected participants participate in focus groups, surveys and or
one-on-one interviews.
As alumni of the organization evaluation will continue on an annual basis
to track Leadership Edmonton participants.
